Troy's Take

So many people told me The Village Green in Middleton has the best burger in the Madison area, and a lot of people said the best in the state. So I had to go.

It has your classic Wisconsin bar vibes. Nothing fancy whatsoever, just a place where you walk in and feel like a regular. Do not expect crazy over the top burgers here. They do classic burgers.

I got the double cheeseburger with bacon and jalapenos plus Cajun fries. The bun is so soft, there is char running along the patty, and the bacon is the exact thickness I want. It is simply a bar burger done so well.

I can not say yet if it is the best burger in Wisconsin, but this burger is so good and the fries are so good. It is right by where I work, so I might end up a regular.
