Dotty Dumpling's Dowry keeps coming up as one of the most recommended burgers in Madison, right there with Settle Down. Campus vibes on Frances Street. Parking is not fun. Classic bar energy inside.

I got the Heart Throb for the spicy crowd: pepper jack, smoked bacon, Heart Throb sauce. Sesame bun. Fries were fine, no Cajun option, just regular. I would have liked seasoning.

Burger is really good. That green Heart Throb sauce is awesome and is doing a lot of the work. Cooked exactly how I asked. Patties could use more seasoning, which I say about a lot of Madison burgers. Not my number one off the first bites, but I get the hype.

Most expensive burger I had reviewed at the time around $16. Tons of burgers on the menu so I will be back to try more. If you are hunting a solid Madison burger, Dotty's is worth it.
