Troy's Take
I was told The Dog House in Mount Horeb is an absolute sleeper with burgers that are out of this world, so I made the drive out.
I got a bacon cheeseburger, added onion rings on it, and went with two slices of cheese, one Gouda and one ghost pepper. They do not do jalapenos, so the ghost pepper cheese gave it the kick I wanted.
Soft bun, thick bacon, perfectly melted cheese. The only thing I would change is browning the patty a little more for a salty kick and some crunch. The Cajun fries have a great, thick Cajun seasoning.
About 20 bucks for a really big burger and fries. Small bar, big patio, great Wisconsin vibes. I definitely recommend stopping by.
