Troy's Take

Pikkito is supposedly the best Peruvian food in the Madison area. It is off Junction Road, honestly more like Middleton, and it is right next to where I work. I always wondered what it was.

Quarter chicken with two sides for $14.99. I went cilantro rice and fries. Two sauces came with it, a cilantro ranch vibe and a yellow one with a kick. Pour them on.

That chicken fell right off the bone. Very moist, cooked perfectly, and that skin is incredible. The cilantro rice tastes so fresh. Chop the chicken into the rice and that combo is really good.

Simple, nothing over the top, exactly what I wanted for lunch. At the end of the day it is rotisserie chicken, but it is really good rotisserie chicken. Being next to my office, I will be back a lot.

  • Get the cilantro rice and put both sauces on everything. The yellow one has a kick.
  • Strip mall spot off Junction Road, closer to Middleton. Great lunch stop.
