Troy's Take

Buns on Fire is rumored to have one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the entire state, so I drove out to Brookfield and tried a little bit of everything. Plus a blue raspberry cream soda, because why not.

The spicy chicken sandwich was almost a perfect 10. Every bite crunchy, every bite juicy, every bite spicy, and that bun is so soft. Please bring one of these to Madison.

The WTF burger has true smash patties, house sauce, jalapenos and crunchy onions. High 8s. The loaded fries with ground beef were cheesy, meaty and insanely seasoned.

Chicken sandwich first, burger a close second, fries a very close third. If you like fried chicken, get out there ASAP.
