Zafferano

Zafferano out in Fitchburg is the wildest fusion. New menu drop with curry artichoke dip, chicken and cheese samosas, kebabs, Chicken 65 pizza. Eclectic and unique. Wednesday date night for two is about $65 with wine, appetizer, pizza, and dessert. Steal.

Curry artichoke dip is served cold with garlic bread. You taste cheese and artichoke more than curry. Garlic bread is light and crunchy. Chicken 65 looked better than most I have had and blasts you with flavor. Perfect kick. Like a nine out of ten for me.

Garlic naan is thin and lightly flaky. Saag burrata with rice is unique. I love the saag but the cold cheese in the middle of warm food threw me a little. Between gnocchi and saag, I take the gnocchi for the spice and that chicken.

Carrot creme brulee with Indian spices. Taste is really good. Texture is thick and mushy in a cottage cheese way, which is a me thing. That gnocchi I am going to think about when I sleep and when I wake up. Odd location, really good food. Go try it.
