Troy's Take
So many people kept recommending The Mediterranean Joint on Williamson Street, so I finally went. They have your classic Mediterranean dishes.
I got the chicken shawarma bowl with rice, chicken, pita and tzatziki. I skipped the salad it usually comes with. It was 18 bucks, which is a little pricey, but I am never against paying a premium for good food.
Packed with flavor. The chicken basically melts in your mouth, the rice is soft and almost moist, and the tzatziki is great. This might be the best chicken shawarma bowl I have had in the Madison area.
The falafel was fine, nothing crazy. Go for the bowl. I will definitely be back.
