Troy's Take
This might just be the best Indian food I've had in Madison. The kind of place you try once and then start figuring out how to accidentally end up over there again.
The Gobi Manchurian was the moment. Perfect spice, perfect flavor, and it straight up melted in my mouth. I told myself I'd stop eating it and then I did not stop eating it. The garlic naan delivered too: light crunch outside, soft inside, elite dipping bread.
The chicken tikka masala did something I'd never seen before. They put peanuts on top and veggies inside. It still tasted amazing, but heads up if you've got a nut allergy. There are some peppers in there as well, though it isn't spicy. Garlic naan dipped in that sauce is still one of the best combos on earth. The mango lassi is their most famous drink and it resets your palate after all that spice.
This is not a downtown vibe. It's tucked into a strip by Menards, and it is extremely red on the inside. Once the food hits the table you forget where you are.
