Troy's Take

If Detroit style is your thing, this might be the best pizza in Madison. Molten Monkey won Best New Restaurant of 2025 from Madison Magazine, and now I get it.

Heads up, there are only about 14 seats. The appetizers are basically their own breadstick pizzas. The Devil's Dan Dan, with spicy ground pork and chili oil, was super unique. My wife preferred the Viva La Verde.

Our build your own pepperoni, arugula and hot honey was cooked perfectly. Crispy, slightly burnt edges and pepperonis crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle. The Don Keon, with habanero masala sauce and hot honey, was unbelievable.

We left miserably full. Hands down some of the best pizza in Madison.
