Troy's Take
Wisconsin's newest supper club, and I know that because they literally just opened. Doc's Place Supper Club out in Oregon. Modern but comfortable dining room, perfect for date night or family. Cool downstairs room you can reserve for events.
80s style drink menu. I got a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. Relish tray with focaccia and buttery crunchy breadstick things. Appetizer was duck wontons: creamy duck inside, perfectly fried, sweet and spicy sauce with a real kick.
Wife got the filet medium rare (came more medium on soft opening day, not worried). I got the burger cooked perfectly but the soft opening menu did not list add-ons so it came plain. Fries had great crunch outside, soft middle. Red velvet dessert was creamy and really good.
I love this place. Price was not crazy. Food was good. Vibes were immaculate. They were booking out into May when I went, so grab a reservation.
