The vibe

On the left it opens into a large dining room with this modern but comfortable feel. Hard to explain, but I love the vibe. Perfect for a date night, cocktail, or family. Downstairs you walk through the doors and get smacked with a bar, then a large open room with incredible vibes. You can reserve the entire downstairs for a special event.

What we ordered

Wisconsin Old Fashioned for me, pinot for my wife. Relish tray with focaccia and little breadstick things. Duck wontons for the app. Wife got the filet with baked potato and seasonal vegetables. I got the burger and fries. Red velvet for dessert (tuxedo bomb was sold out).

My thoughts on the food

Those breadstick things were so buttery and crunchy. Duck wontons had creamy duck in the middle, perfectly fried outside, sweet and spicy sauce with a really good kick. Menu is simple, nothing too crazy.

Filet was ordered medium rare and came more medium. Soft opening, second day serving food, so I am not worried. My burger was cooked perfectly. Soft opening menu did not have all the info, so it came plain and I ate it plain. Full menu will show you need to add cheese, tomato, lettuce, all that. Fries had great crunch outside, soft in the middle. Ate those so fast.

Red velvet was really good, more on the creamy side which is what I like. Heard a table say the tuxedo bomb was out of this world. Sad we missed it.

The verdict

All in all I love this place. Price was not crazy. Food was good. Vibes were immaculate. I heard they were already booked out to middle or late May, so if you want a reservation check now. Doc's Supper Club out in Oregon. Great place, great vibes. Go check it out.
