Troy's Take
This place has been recommended to me about a thousand times, and every single person was right. I rolled up on a Monday at noon and it was packed. That's when you know.
The Boom Boom wings stole the show. Cajun dry rub, then tossed in Boom Boom sauce. I was worried they'd be soggy since they came out drenched, but they had serious crunch and a flavor combination I've never tasted before. The Buffalo wings were fine: really juicy chicken, classic flavor, just a touch soggy next to the Boom Boom.
The Cajun chicken sandwich is loaded with seasoning, so skip it if you're not into bold and spicy. Grilled chicken, peppers, melted pepper jack on a brioche bun, and the owner told me it's been the same recipe for 22 years. The chive fries with homemade ranch were perfect crunch outside, soft in the middle.
Classic Wisconsin sports bar energy with a quieter dining room if you want it. The owner was there running food to tables himself, which tells you everything about the place.
