Sujhi Sushi
Sujhi Sushi in Fitchburg has the wildest sushi rolls I have ever seen
2964 Ochalla Dr, Fitchburg, WI
We are trying what might be the most insane sushi rolls I have ever seen. This is Sujhi Sushi, a food truck in Fitchburg. I asked them how they would describe it, and they said it is South American sushi. I also got a poke burger, and I have never seen a poke burger in my entire life.
The Lowdown
- City: Fitchburg, WI
- Location: Food truck at 2964 Ochalla Dr, Fitchburg, WI 53713
- Instagram: @sujhisushiwis for hours and updates

- Tiger Roll
- Super Volcano Roll
- Shrimp tempura roll (no cream cheese)
My thoughts on the food
The poke burger first. The buns are essentially rice patted down, almost like the rice on the outside of sushi. There is an absurd amount of stuff in there. I think it is shrimp tempura and spicy crab, I see some avocado, and some unagi sauce. The thing that threw me off in the beginning was the texture of the bun, because it is rice and not a bread bun. It literally tastes like a tempura sushi roll thrown into a big sandwich, and the taste is great.
The Tiger Roll. The flavor is good, but I had to have another bite. I think it is more of a texture thing. I do not know what it is about that second bite, but it tasted really good. These are all warm, by the way. The outside is lightly fried, so I just want you to know exactly what to expect.
The Super Volcano Roll is one of their most famous rolls. I do not hate it, but I liked the first one more. I like the spice and the sauce on the Tiger Roll more, and I think it had more flavor.
The shrimp tempura roll. We removed the cream cheese because my wife does not like cream cheese on sushi, and I believe all of their rolls come with it, so you can ask to leave it out. I really loved the sweet sauce on top of this one.
My ranking
- 1. Tiger Roll
- 2. Shrimp tempura roll
- 3. Super Volcano Roll
- Bonus: the poke burger. The flavor is more pronounced and it kind of blasts your mouth with flavor.
The verdict
First and foremost, these are unlike any sushi rolls I have eaten, because they are lightly breaded and not your classic style sushi. Overall, really good rolls. If you can go and get your hands on this poke burger, I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
