Red Heat Chicken

These look insane. Red Heat Chicken is a fried chicken place in the West Towne Mall, so the worst part is you have to go into the mall food court to grab them.

They look and smell delicious. First impression: massive. These came from the world's largest chickens.

What I ordered

They have five heat levels. I got heat level 4, called extra hot. All of their sauce and seasonings are made in house. I also got their seasoned fries.

My thoughts on the food

That has some heat. Not insanely spicy, but a sneak-up-and-bite-you kind of heat. Subtle heat that simmers on your tongue. So tasty. So juicy.

This is the best special sauce I've had from any chicken tender place. If I get them again, and I will 100% get them again, I think I'd go heat level 3. I could drink a gallon of this sauce.

Seasoned fries with that sauce? Whoever owns Red Heat Chicken, can I buy this from you please. These tenders are dripping, greasy in the right way, breading not too thick. You can see right through to how juicy they are.

I've been to so many chicken tender places and this feels different because of the house seasoning. House sauce better than any other house sauce I've had. Nose running. Spicy. Incredible.

The verdict

Red Heat Chicken, West Towne Mall food court. Incredible job. Absolutely amazing. Two thumbs up. Now please get a location outside of the mall. These might be the best chicken tenders in the city.
